Clinical Supervision & Practice Standards

1. Assists Head, Clinical & Research to establish practice standards for caseworkers
2. Implements a system of monitoring and maintaining practice standards
3. Assists Head, Clinical & Research to establish and implement Clinical Supervision Framework across various levels of Aftercare and Step-Up centre case managers in SANA
4. Supports Aftercare and Step-Up centre case managers in their clinical supervision,counselling and casework

Training & Development

1. Conducts in service seminars and trainings to complement external training courses
2. Provides consultation to SANA Management on theories and addiction management that supports persons in recovery
3. Mentors younger case managers to enhance practice skills and raise professional standards

Advocacy & Service Development

1. Supports Head, Clinical & Research to assist SANA in leading capability building for the aftercare sector
2. Provides consultation to SANA to develop current services to fulfill strategic role as addiction arm of CARE network
3. Supports Head, Clinical & Research, to share SANA’s effective practices and good outcomes locally and internationally
4. Supports Head, Clinical & Research, to build a culture an evidence-based culture in SANA
5. Liaise with all external organizations on collaborations, including institutes of higher learning on research matters, internship and practicum arrangements, etc.

Direct Practice

1. Undertake selected cases with complex needs

Research

1. Proposes trategic research directions for SANA
2. Upholds a robust research framework, including conducting research to improve practices, develop programmes and services as well as inform policies on drugs.
3. Assists Head, Clinical & Research to develop and maintain a strong research culture in SANA
