The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow to join a university-level research centre. The position is for one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. Successful candidates will conduct research and develop advanced cryptographic protocols for privacy protection of machine learning models in AI accelerators. Candidates are expected to have a strong background in relevant areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on the design and implementation of hardware accelerator devices for AI tasks.
- Conduct research on the development of security and privacy enhanced solutions for AI accelerators.
Job Requirements:
- PhD’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong background in cyber security, machine learning, computer hardware, and related areas.
- Strong publication records in top-tier artificial intelligence or computer security conferences/journals, such as NeurIPS, ICML, Usenix Security, TMC, ICASSP.
- Expertise in developing efficient and practical solutions for AI acceleration.
- Good command of English as required for research work, both oral and written along with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individual and professional groups.
