Job Overview:
A global tech company is looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer with extensive experience in Data Centre environments, implementation, and L3 support. This role involves working on complex network solutions, managing large-scale implementations, and providing advanced technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage network solutions for Data Centre environments.
- Provide L3 support for complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute network upgrades and enhancements.
- Thoubleshoot and resolve high-impact network issues, including routing, switching, and security problems.
- Maintain and update network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Monitor network performance and conduct capacity planning to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to continually improve network solutions and practices.
Required Qualifications:
- CCIE certification (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) is mandatory.
- Proven experience in Data Centre network design, implementation, and support.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, and security.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and other network hardware and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
