Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special School Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs. This role requires a deep understanding of special education practices and the ability to work collaboratively with other educators, therapists, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across various subjects.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Work closely with parents, caregivers, and therapists to support students' holistic development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Participate in regular staff meetings, professional development, and training.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- MOE Teaching Certification preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience teaching students with special needs.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic teaching environment.
