Job Purpose
This role will help our Asian OEs develop and enhance compelling product propositions in the Life and Healthspace. Our goal is to provide customers with simple and intuitive product propositions, possibly in a modular design and ideally with a degree of consistency across markets. Experience in successful customer segmentation, the development of effective sales pitches and effective campaign design are critical.
We are looking for a bright, open minded candidate with a winning personality and excellent commnicationskills, who has a genuine interest in providing the best services to our customers and who can excite ourdistribution channels with innovative ideas.
The ideal candidate is experienced in proposition development in the region's more developed markets. Transfer of knowledge and insights across borders will be key, acknowlediging that local differences and requirements always exist. We are looking for an analytical mind who bases their work on data and hard facts, but who is also creative and innovative in coming up with suitable solutions.
Exposure to all of Allianz's Life and Health operating entities, deep insights into their different strategies, and active & creative involvement in driving our Life and Health strategy are among the exciting challenges of this role.
Allianz asia Pacific is a diverse market with a strong focus on growing health and protection business. Regulations and market situations continuously evolve - this role is required to understand and anticipate change and act in a way that allows us to stay ahead of the game!
This role is open for secondment from regional operating entities or other Allianz entities or external hire.
What you do
- Guide the region in Life and Health proposition development across all lines of business
- Ensure that our propositions and simple, intuitive and cater to all of our customer segment needs
- Actively search for ways to continuously improve our Life and Health product offering for our customers -anticipate change so that we remain state of the art in our markets, but also close potential gaps that we might have
- Excite our distribution partners with propositions that help them meet volume and margin targets
- Cross-functional collaboration with all key stakeholders in the proposition development process, including pricing experts, distribution channels, marketing, operations and finance
What you bring
- Deep understanding of Life and Health insurance products - both in terms of customer propositions and technical details. Understanding of trends and regional differences
- 8 -10 years of working experience with 5+ years experience in relevant insurance companies, deep experience in proposition development
- Experience in engaging, building relationships and managing difficult conversations for business problem solving with internal C-suite executives
- Deep understanding of levers of profitability, technical excellence and balance between commercial sense, risk, simplification, technology and consumer needs
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Hands-on attitude and initiative are crucial
- Bachelor or Master Degree
