Scope of Work for Managed Professional Services M365
1. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The staff will provide day-to-day administrative support of COE Lab operation, and technical support for the enablement and implementation of the Microsoft 365 solutions; and to provide day-to-day engineering support to test and update the M365 configurations and Intune administration.
The duties include:
a. Support M365 software used in MINDEF/SAF, with their future releases and future new installations.
b. Update baseline app and configurations (device policies) on Intune
c. Update and review the applications configurations on Intune where necessary
d. Test patches pushed to different Operating Systems (iOS, Android and Windows devices)
e. Test packages provisioned via Intune
f. Track vulnerabilities and the availability of patches; perform assessment to determine if environments are affected.
g. Manage and ensure that change requests for release of patches and software updates are timely release to patch the Production machines.
h. Manage and ensure that proper patch or software testing are conducted in the Lab environment and verification at Production Unit Test machine before they are released to Pilot and mass.
i. Carry out client performance measurement for all client environments after patched; and maintain records of the performance measurement taken.
j. Establish new Windows configurations for support
k. Troubleshoot and provide workaround to resolve system and applications issues encounter during patching or operation.
l. Assist users with software testing and certification.
m. Manage hardware and software configurations of the supported client devices, and provide updated procedural documentation and relevant reports for any configuration change.
n. Support new deployment and current operations packed with updated Baseline Applications and proper versioning. Conduct testing and troubleshooting with issues encountered.
o. Update Configuration List and Deployment Guide, Configuration Guide, User Guide
p. Provide 2nd line of support to address IT-related queries, incidents and requests reported by 1st line and users.
2. CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENT
a. Education Qualifications: Degree in Information Technology / Engineering (or equivalent)
b. Required competencies:
i. Experience in providing IT support
ii. Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 service-related issues
iii. Experience in managing Microsoft 365 and Intune
iv. Experience configuring, managing and supporting end-client devices and peripherals (i.e. Desktops, Notebooks, Tablets, Phones etc)
v. Experience in solving hardware and software issues on end-client devices and peripherals
vi. Good knowledge in Operating System (Windows, MAC, Android, IOS), Active Directory, Group Policy Object
vii. Good understanding of scripts and batch files.
viii. Good understanding of security concepts such as authentication and authorisation.
3. PRE-REQUISTIES
a. 5 working days / 8.5 hours
b. The staff will be located at DSTA premise. DSTA/MINDEF shall provide resources required for the work such as workspace, workstations and tools.
