Mechanic/ Heavy Automotive/Up to $3500 + OT + AWS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· To perform all basic troubleshooting and basic diagnostics with appropriate recommendations (With guidance from Team Leaders where appropriate)
· To check and provide correct recommended Parts details in the Work Order as and when
· required.
· To carry out Service Maintenance on the trucks
· To perform all repairs (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic etc)
· To ensure Utilization, Efficiency and Productivity is achieved.
· To record repair time and detail of repair in the Work Order.
· To keep Team Leader updated on the repair details and repair requirements.
· Adhere to Warranty Process and Procedures (Warranty tagging of parts, return and storage of warranty parts etc)
· Ensure all service and repairs are performed thoroughly and in accordance to good quality
practice and procedures adhering to manufacturers standard 4 (Singapore).
· To attend to breakdown where necessary and to be equipped with a valid Class 3/4 driving license.
REQUIREMENTS:
· NITEC in Automotive Technology or former NTC 3/2 in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or NTC 3/2
· Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics or Diploma in Automotive Engineering or related field.
· Preferred with valid Class 3 / 4 / 5 driving license (Singapore).
· Minimum of 4 – 6 years working experience in servicing and repairing heavy trucks
· Higher skilled in heavy trucks/machineries troubleshooting and diagnosis. Required to attend to breakdowns.
OTHER INFORMATION:
· Location: Tuas (Company bus provided at Boon lay MRT)
· Working Days/Hours: 0830 hrs to 1730 hrs (Mon to Fri), 0830 hrs to 1230hrs (alt Sat)
· Salary: Up to $3500 + OT + AWS (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
