Assistant Engineer/ Engineer at Changi Naval Base, up to $3500 + VB (Office hours)

- 1 Year Contract (Renewable)

- Monday to Friday (8am to 5.30pm)

- Changi Naval Base (Shuttle Service Provided)

- Up to $3500 + VB

Job Description:

1. Perform maintenance tasks onboard vessels (mainly in harbour)
2. Perform maintenance works onboard vessels in shipyard occasionally
3. Perform maintenance works on shore-based systems
4. Perform defect troubleshoot till module/card level onboard vessels or shore-based systems
5. Perform repairs to modules and PCBA in workshop
6. Perform installation/removal work for equipment/systems
7. Perform refurbishment of electronics unit/assemblies
8. Perform technical admin work including quotations, closing jobs, service reports, etc.

• 1 Year Contract (Renewable)

Location:

• Changi Naval Base (Shuttle Service Provided)

Salary:

• Up to $3500 + VB

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree on Electronics Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/ Digital and Network Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/IT/Software
• Aerospace Engineering certifications with Electronics Engineering modules may also apply
• RSN maintenance training certifications would be considered
• Working knowledge and experience working in on-board commercial and military vessels on Communications and Electronics systems
• Window or Linux OS administration (installation and troubleshooting) experience
• Working knowledge and experience on computer systems
• Understanding maintenance regime and basic experience in troubleshooting system till card level.
• Training would be provided if necessary
• Good interpersonal skill
• Good teamwork and discipline
