a) Role and Responsibilities
1. Assisting in all food preparation process
2. cooking and preparing all raw and cook materials
3. Preparing vegetables, meats and seafood or vegetarians food items
4. Helping with deliveries and restocking
5. Assisting with stock rotation and cleaning stations
6. Follow and maintain cleanliness and good hygiene practices in the kitchen
7. Inform chef of any excess food items or product for use in daily production
8. Responsible to maintain food logs
9. To assist others on chopping, cutting, packing, and learning dishes from other chefs
10.Work according on food menu specifications by the higher lever chef
b) Requirements
i) Able to work flexi-shift, public holidays and on roster
ii) good cooking skills in Chinese and Local cuisine
c) Salary will be based on experience- Commis Cook 1 : min 3.5 years exp
- Commis Cook 2 : min 2 year exp
- Commis Cook 3 : new entrant with basic knowledge of cooking
