How You’ll Make an Impact
- Assess/evaluate different low carbon/energy efficient technologies based on its value proposition and ability to complement applications across the energy value chain
- Provide techno-economic analysis of various technologies and suggest suitable SE portfolio offerings to meet customer needs
- Work with the combustion R&D team and other academic/research collaborators to understand the upstream and downstream process needs.
- Understanding of scale up challenges/risks and mitigation related to fluid flow, heat transfer, mass transfer, chemical reactors and semi-batch reactor operations
- Collaborate with chemical partners and other engineers/scientists to scale up processes from bench to pilot to commercial scale
- Support laboratory activities with academic partners to develop and scale - up manufacturing processes for new products.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s in engineering with minimum 15 years of chemical industry experience or Masters in Engineering with minimum10 years experience.
- Significant proven experience in the area of chemical process development
- Strong safety mindset
- Strong command of chemical engineering fundamentals
- Proven examples of developing innovative solutions to complex problems
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
- Initiative, creativity, and problem solving abilities
- Excellent written, verbal, computer, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to periodically travel for domestic and international project assignments.
- Experience leading other engineers and/or chemists
