Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Prof. LIU Xiaogang on the development of X-ray detectors under a project on "Solution-Processed Perovskite Materials for Next-Generation Integrated X-Ray Sensors".
The main responsibilities of the position include:
• To independently undertake research in the development of highly sensitive X-ray detectors.
• To lead the production of research reports and publications as required by the grantor.
• To assist PI in supervising the students involved in the project.
• To undertake any other duties relevant to the research project.
Qualifications / Discipline:
1. PhD in optical engineering, optical physics, materials engineering, or strongly related fields.
2. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues.
3. Demonstrated a high level of formal written and oral communication skills.
4. Evidence of contributions to research including peer-reviewed publications.
Skills:
- Synthesis of nanomaterials, AFM, TEM, optical microscope, photolithography, e-beam lithography, sputtering, etc.
Experience:
- Experience in the development of advanced methods for nanopatterning and optical path modulation.
