Job Overview
As the Project & Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing various projects related to our yoga and fitness facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of our facilities, ensuring they provide a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for our members and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Plan, execute, and oversee yoga and fitness-related projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; manage resources and track project progress.
- Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Address and resolve project-related issues and challenges proactively.
Facilities Management
- Ensure the facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Oversee routine and preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of equipment and facilities.
- Manage facility-related vendor relationships and service contracts.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Budget & Resource Management
- Develop and manage budgets for projects and facilities maintenance.
- Monitor and control expenses, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Prepare financial reports and provide recommendations for improvements.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the yoga and fitness teams to understand their needs and support their goals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to facility staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management and facilities management, preferably within the yoga and fitness industry.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a wellness or fitness environment.
