As a Senior Finance Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day financial operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, and other various financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial activities.
- Review and approve group payments per company policies, ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors
- Tabulate and bill clients accurately and ensure timely invoicing and follow-up.
- Manage receivables, pursuing outstanding amounts and ensuring collections.
- Oversee daily cash and treasury functions for optimal cash flow.
- Reconcile bank statements promptly to ensure accuracy.
- Process and verify staff claims according to company policies.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, offering insights and recommendations.
- Review GP margins and COS, addressing discrepancies.
- Oversee bank and petty cash reconciliations for all companies.
- Prepare and submit GST returns, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Manage year-end closing and financial report preparation.
- Handle IRAS inquiries regarding tax and GST matters.
- Lead and support special projects as directed by management.
- Any other administrative duties assigned by the company or its subsidiaries
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Emotional resilience and ability to handle pressure.
- Familiar with Xero software.
- Adaptable to changing work environments and priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
- High proficiency in MS Excel.
- Dynamic, driven, and proactive.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
