Job Description:
- Plan in conjunction with Management team on activities, promotions, menu implementations according to the annual marketing plans.
- To maintain & cultivate supplier relationship
- Conduct regular reviews of menu and promotions with the view of creating / delivering good F&B experience
- Ensure that positive working relations with non-Food and Beverage departments are fostered
- Ensure disciplinary and grievance procedures are properly adhered to and followed.
- Assist in the preparation and control of daily and weekly market lists
- Create and develop new dishes and recipes by keeping up with the latest market trends.
- Constantly strive to improve kitchen operating procedures.
- Propose and initiate when approved, new services and products for our guests.
- Control manpower distribution throughout the kitchens, by overseeing the scheduling of all sections and makes adjustments anticipating unscheduled business within budget
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head from time to time
- Create a safe and clean working environment in the kitchen, by emphasizing importance of workplace safety and hygiene, and ensuing employees are sufficiently trained to such aspects
