Job Description:
- Purchase products and tools to assist with cleaning and landscaping operations
- Ensure products are of competitive pricing with the best quality
- Assist with purchasing budget to ensure sufficient supplies are always available
- Review existing suppliers, source for new suppliers and negotiate contracts while building good working relationships with suppliers
- Analyse current budget and expenses to ascertain where improvements can be made
- Maintain all documentation of purchases and prepare reports as requested by management, ensure all information is filed properly and made available when needed
- Highlight any significant differences in pricing
- Facilitate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of products
Job Requirements:
- 1 - 2 years of experience as a purchasing officer / executive
- Some experience sourcing for suppliers and negotiating pricing
- Has some experience using purchasing software
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organised and meticulous
