- Complies with approved standards of nursing practices.
- Assists the RN to supervise care staff and healthcare attendants.
- Provides basic nursing care to the patients.
- Updates on changes in patient's conditions and needs.
- Ensures care delivery and nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan.
- Carries out nursing rounds with the RN.
- Supervises care staff to ensure comfort and good personal hygiene of patients under his/her care.
- Supervises care staff to check, monitor and record patient's vital signs.
- Maintains accurate documentation of care given.
- Assists RN in serving medications to patients and comply with safe medication practices.
- Assists and guides care staff in the transfer and positioning of non-ambulant patients.
- Supervises care staff in diet serving and feeding of patients that require help.
- Supervises care staff in ensuring comfort and good personal hygiene of patients under his/her care.
Requirements
- Min NITEC in nursing
- Min 2 to 3 years of acute ward / Nursing home / daycare centre experience
Salary range: Up to $3.2K
