1) Role and Responsibility
a) Lead the sales activities to the assigned region in Central Asia and South Asia for MOII group portfolio of products
b) Manage the entire trade process from negotiation, sales to contract signing to supply delivery and receipt of full payment.
c) Capture the sales against the agreed target volume and margins with the existing customer base and new customers.
d) Work closely with the company support teams to ensure contracts are executed smoothly within the company guidelines and policies.
e) Manage any customer feedback on the supply of the goods and follow up with the appropriate corrective action.
f) Visit each of the assigned markets at least 2 times a year to sell, build relations with the customers, follow-up on new product development and update management of market development and new business potential on the ground.
2) Must have extensive experience:
a) Minimum of 10 years in the oils and fats industry.
b) Of this a, minimum of 5 years in international sales.
c) Experience in selling specialty oils and fats (eg cocoa butter alternatives and pastry margarines)
d) Selling experience to different segments of markets including industrial customers and distributors.
e) Has managed overseas distributors / agents, by setting sales targets, give product training, follow-up on new business.
f) Able to understand intrinsic needs of customers using specialty oils and fats by recommending the appropriate products to achieve the desired final product.
g) Has the ability to guide the customers with food trends and suggest appropriate product type in collaboration with our R&D applications team.
3) Other requirements:
a) Has a science-based / engineering-based degree from a recognized- university.
b) Able to communicate clearly with presentation in Power-Point to customers and management.
c) Able to travel 2 weeks in every 6-8 weeks.
