Receptionist - Hougang

Gain Employment Services Pte. Ltd.

Contract Period: 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 with an option to extend the Contract for a further period of 1 year.


Working hours:

· Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4.00pm, inclusive of ½ hr lunch break

· Fridays: 7:00am to 3.30pm, inclusive of ½ hr lunch break

· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays


Scope of Services:

  1. Reception duties - Handle calls (within 3 rings), walk-in enquiries, goods receiving, school mails, parcels dispatch etc.
  2. Retrieve phone messages and inform respective personnel (first thing in the morning).
  3. Attending and addressing pupils’ needs.
  4. Assist staff in the loaning of resources.
  5. Assist staff in the conducting of surveys.
  6. Sorting and ensuring the uniform cupboard is neat and tidy.
  7. Any other admin duties or task assigned by Admin Manager (AM), Admin Executive (AE), Operations Manager (OM), School Leaders (SLs) and Key Personnel (KPs)
  8. The School may request staff to be involved in urgent and important duties, e.g. During Evacuation, Emergencies.

Qualification, Skill & Experience:

  • Minimum GCE O-level educations
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a similar position in local schools
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and another language
  • A team player who works well with other colleagues
