Senior Civil Engineer, well experienced in Singapore construction industry.
Job Description
• Review the projects technical specifications and check the drawings prepared by the Design team.
• Works planning:
• Allocate manpower to various worksites.
• Prepare the list of materials / equipment required for the works, check availability in the warehouse and liaise with the Purchase Dept when orders are required.
• Prepare documents and permits required for the works.
• Attend site meetings.
• Conduct site visits to inspect and supervise works and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, quality and safety standards.
• Liaise with Designers, Calculation Engineers and QS to solve any issue.
• Ensure all works are performed in accordance with the prevailing safety and quality standards.
• Prepare progress report, project handover report and claim report.
• Mentor junior civil engineers.
Job Requirements
• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Familiarity with Microsoft project, BIM and AutoCAD would be an advantage.
• 5.5 days per week.
• Min 10-year experience in the construction industry in Singapore.
• Singapore Class 3 driving license preferred.
