Job Description
- Ensure the stability and support of POS, network, and system operations.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting for IT hardware and operational systems.
- Oversee and maintain the effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, antivirus programs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Maintain and upgrade the existing network infrastructure as needed.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to colleagues on best practices for using systems and technologies within the company.
- Ensure adequate monitoring and execution of patch management activities.
- Assist in planning and implementing systems and technologies to meet future business requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners.
- Collaborate with vendors, project leads, and users to resolve issues and ensure consistent, viable solutions.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of IT assets, purchases, and leases.
Job Requirements
- Minimum diploma in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Basic knowledge of networking (L1).
- Experience with firewalls is a plus.
- ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
