ACCOUNTABILITIES
a. To provide faculty with course design support in creating effective and engaging learning environments informed by desired learning outcomes
b. To provide pedagogical training to faculty through workshops, webinars, video turorials etc. regarding topics related to online teaching, the LMS, course design, and integration of instructional technology
c. Provides instructional design support to faculty through consultation with individuals and collaborative course design teams
d. Assists faculty in the development of course materials for delivery of face-to-face, hybrid and online courses
e. Assists faculty with the conversion of face-to-face courses to hybrid and online formats
f. Collaborates, assists, develops and participates in facilitation of professional development workshops and symposia, particularly with regards to course design, online teaching and technology enhanced instruction
g. Participates in discovery meetings and help conduct interviews to confirm performance needs and translate those needs into concrete options for learning interventions
h. Participates in design sessions with Senior ID, key stakeholders, subject matter experts and project teams
i. Write concise, effective, and creative instruction. Course deliverables include design documents, storyboards, prototypes, instructor and participant materials
j. Create project documentation including the design templates, standards, style guides, technical specifications, straw models, train-the-trainer and pilot materials
k. Work directly with the technical subject matter experts to capture course-specific knowledge
l. Ensure that learning solutions incorporate best practices in adult learning theory
m. Assists with design and development of curriculum level learning systems
n. Ensure the final project deliverables are the highest quality
o. Design, develop, and implement measurement and evaluation strategies to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of learning solutions on performance
p. Provide input into work plan creation, advising on the length of time required to design, develop, and complete learning solutions
OTHER DUTIES
To carry out such other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time by the immediate superior or designated representative on behalf of Universiti Tun Abdul Razak.
