Uphold high standards of public health by working with the Executives/Managers and a team of officers at the Eastern Regional Office‘s Malaria Vectors Surveillance Section (MVSS) for the objective of minimising propagation of vector population to prevent potential vector-borne disease outbreak.
Some of the work requirements are as follows:
- Provide vector control operational and administrative support to execute vectors surveillance and vector-borne disease outbreak management.
- Attend to and resolve feedback from members of the public to ensure timely closure.
- Engage stakeholders to create awareness and facilitate compliance to the regulations.
- Carry out enforcement of the Control of Vectors and Pesticides Act (CVPA) and Environmental Public Health Act (EPHA) to ensure adherence to environmental public health requirement.
