Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic upkeep of hotel rooms, floors, F&B units, public areas, offices, back-of-house services, and staff areas.
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring they meet the department's standards and protocols.
- Coordinate the daily tasks of room attendants and public area cleaners to maintain a seamless operation.
- Monitor the performance of staff across departments to ensure quality work in alignment with established procedures.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Department to address and resolve any defects or repair needs within guest rooms.
- Maintain inventory of linen and bathroom supplies, ensuring pantries are well-stocked.
- Handle and manage any lost items reported by guests, ensuring proper protocol is followed.
- Foster effective communication within the Housekeeping Department to ensure smooth operations.
- Undertake any additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by the Housekeeping Manager.
