- Ensure the project meet legal and quality standards
- Manages project costing from early design plans until the completion of the project
- Carry out feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labor costs
- Negotiate and draw up bids for tenders and contracts
- Prepare tender and contract documents for submissions and interviews, including bills of quantities, prepare quotations and cost estimates.
- source for required materials and vendors, handle interim progress claims, variation of sub-contractor progress claims, and variation orders.
- Able to liaise with consultants/customers
- Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors in pre-contract or post-contract and procurement administration of fast-track projects
