Job description:
- Uploads material from trucks by hand or with the aid of a forklift
- Inspects cargo received, as to quality and quantity, against freight documents
- Counts, weighs, palletizes and measures goods received or issued
- Records incoming cargo and packs outgoing cargo if necessary
- Stores cargo according to a prescribed storage system
- Operates forklift and other equipment such as pallet trucks to stack and transport cargo
- Participates in stock check by counting stock
- Cleans work area
- Performs related work appropriate to the classification as assigned
- Fills water reservoirs and cleans and lubricates equipment as needed
- Monitors warehouse equipment and makes adjustments as needed
- Performs routine maintenance and makes minor repairs
Requirements:
Forklift license
Positive Working Attitude
Good Team Player
Store experience advantageous
5 1/2 day work week + Overtime
Able to work on Sundays and Public Holidays when required
