Job Description & Requirements
Service Engineer/Service technician is responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and repairs of SMARDT Chillers and related products and services. He/She works closely with the service team and other department staff, ensuring the highest levels of customer service, assistance, and advice at all times.
· Carry out the commissioning, maintenance, service repairs and assembly of SMARDT Chillers throughout the Singapore region, including breakdown repairs that may require working outside of normal business hours.
· Work closely with the Service Team and other department staff to identify and communicate service-related matters that will assist Smardt customers and products.
· Support the achievement of Smardt direct service provision in the Singapore region, while always maintaining safe work practices.
· Regular housekeeping.
· Other duties as required.
Requirements:
· Must be a qualified and licensed air conditioning technician working in the HVAC industry for min. 5 years.
· Must have experience working with central plants and chillers
· Centrifugal refrigeration compressor and oil-free compressor experience will be highly regarded
· Solid grasp of Chiller Controls and Plant Control Systems is essential
· Computer literacy is essential
· Experience in Training others is highly regarded
· Experience in offering remote technical support is highly regarded
· Experience in travelling to offer product support is highly regarded
· Other language skills highly regarded
