We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems. This role requires a hands-on individual with technical expertise and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Perform installations of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with technical specifications, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks on ACMV systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and energy efficiency. Identify and rectify potential issues before they escalate.
- Servicing: Provide prompt and effective servicing of ACMV systems, including troubleshooting, diagnosing faults, and executing necessary repairs. Maintain detailed records of all service activities.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice and recommendations on system operation, maintenance, and upgrades. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and industry standards while performing tasks. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety requirements.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation related to installation, maintenance, and servicing activities. Ensure that all work is documented appropriately for future reference and compliance purposes.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers and technicians, as well as with the sales and project management teams, to ensure seamless project execution and resolution of any issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of ACMV systems, including HVAC components, refrigeration principles, and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as required.
