1. Vision and Mission Alignment

• Vision:• Position the Security Management Business Unit as a leading provider of innovative, reliable, and comprehensive security solutions.

• Mission:• Deliver exceptional security management services by leveraging industry expertise, cutting-edge technology, and strategic partnerships.


2. Long-Term Goals (3-5 Years)

• Market Positioning:• Establish the unit as a top player in the security industry through brand recognition, strategic alliances, and innovation.

• Expansion:• Expand service offerings and geographic presence to capture a broader market.

• Technology Integration:• Invest in advanced security technologies and data analytics to enhance service delivery and efficiency.

• Employee Development:• Develop a robust training and development program to build a highly skilled and motivated workforce.


3. Short-Term Goals (1-2 Years)

• Operational Efficiency:• Streamline operations to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.

• Client Acquisition:• Increase the client base by targeting high-growth sectors and regions.

• Performance Metrics:• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

• Contingency Planning:• Implement and test contingency plans to handle potential disruptions and performance issues.


4. Operational Management

• Business Development:• Focus on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and creating value propositions.

• Operations:• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and meet client expectations.

• Collaboration with HR:• Work with HR to align staffing, recruitment, and training with business strategies to support goal achievement.

• Contingency Plans:• Develop and roll out contingency plans for managing delays or performance issues, ensuring minimal impact on the unit's progress.


5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Client Satisfaction:• Measure client satisfaction and feedback to assess service quality.

• Financial Performance:• Monitor revenue, profit margins, and cost management.

• Operational Efficiency:• Track response times, incident resolution times, and adherence to SOPs.

• Employee Performance:• Evaluate employee performance through regular appraisals and feedback.


6. Change Management and Leadership

• Change Management:• Lead the change management process, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder engagement.

• Leadership:• Provide guidance and support to key stakeholders and change agents to drive organizational transformation.


7. Performance Evaluation and Improvement

• Employee Appraisal:• Conduct regular performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) where necessary.

• Advisory Role:• Provide strategic advice to the Operations team on improving security measures and operational practices.


8. Security Measures and Data Analysis

• Effectiveness Monitoring:• Regularly analyze statistical data on the effectiveness of security measures at various sites to ensure optimal performance.

• BCP Activation:• Ensure the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is activated during crises and operates effectively.


9. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• SOP Development:• Establish clear SOPs and workflows for the Executive Protection Business Unit to standardize operations and improve efficiency.


10. Competency Evaluation

• Annual Evaluation:• Oversee the annual evaluation of security agencies’ competencies to ensure they meet required standards.


11. Financial Management

• Budget Oversight:• Monitor the financial health of the departments, focusing on minimizing budgets while maximizing profits.


12. Training Institute

• Establishment:• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish a training institute, enhancing skill development and industry knowledge.


13. Additional Responsibilities

• Ad-hoc Activities:• Engage in any additional activities directed by management to support the organization’s overall success.


14. Implementation Steps

Eligibility and Qualifications

• WSQ Diploma in Security Management:• Ensure all relevant personnel hold this qualification.

• Experience:• Minimum of 5 years in the security industry with a comprehensive understanding of security management practices.
