As a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with Ufinity, you will be part of a team to develop and test web applications. Your role in the team will is to ensure quality and test the product. There may also be opportunities to do development of features for various projects.
Your broad responsibilities will include:
- Drive product quality and QA practices
- Validate product features as per acceptance criteria
- Design, develop and maintain the testing environment, testing framework, test plan, regression test suites and test cases in accordance with changing requirements
- Perform various tests such as Manual/Automated/Functional/Exploratory testing/Cross-Platform Testing for the various platforms (iOS, Android, Web)
- Uncover and fix unseen spots and edge cases in test cases
- Conduct system integration tests with external systems, prepare and generate test reports
- Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with development team to establish Continuous Integration and Delivery Pipeline
- Test scenario and test case preparation and creation for SIT and UAT.
- Prepare UAT documentations and test data.
- Monitor and follow up SIT and UAT status for test case execution and defect raised.
- Ensure the defects raised are identified, tracked and resolved in timely manner.
- Provide support and assistance to client during UAT.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, of Professional Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication) or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality engineering or relevant roles
- Strong understanding of Unit Testing using JavaScript Framework
- Good understanding of mobile (iOS and Android, ReactN) and web technologies (React.js, Node.js) with respective debugging tools
- Experience in Non-Functional Testing such as security testing, as well as performance and load testing
- Experience in Behaviour-Driven Development
- Experience in automated testing tools/frameworks
- Initiative to go the extra mile such as by creating tools to improve testing processes
- Good team player with good communication skills
