About our client: : Our client is a leading international engineering consultancy specialized in infrastructure and environmental projects.
Start date: Dec 2924 / Jan 2025
Work Location: Tuas (Company transport is provided in selected MRT station)
Working days: 5.5 days (half day on Saturdays)
About the role:
· Assist Resident Engineers in daily close supervision and coordination duties on Building Services (Mechanical and Electrical)
· Inspect and supervise Contractors’ works and tests to Approved Drawings and Specifications
· Keep quality records of all works, monitor and report on work progress
· Responsible for the consistency of quality assurance inspections and testing for works
· Coordinate with Contractors and Owner on execution of works
· Report to Mechanical Lead for BS Mechanical work and Electrical Lead for BS Electrical work.
About you:
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance inspections on large infrastructure project, or solid waste management or water infrastructure projects in Singapore
· The candidate will be assigned duties mainly for Building services (BS) works for both Mechanical and Electrical (M&E)
· Areas of supervision may include: sanitary and plumbing, fire-fighting including fire alarm system, ACMV, lighting and small power, security systems, EVC system, ISMS, ViMS, CCTV, FIDS, BACS, BMS, lifts etc
· Proficient with MS Office
· Familiarity with BIM software (Revit) is an advantage
· Possessing a Resident Technical Officer reqistration with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore will be considered favourably
· Possess some flexibility in working hours as per site needs.
