Hong Leong Finance is Singapore's largest finance company, with a network of 28 branches and 12 SME Centres islandwide. We are currently seeking for dynamic individuals to join our Compliance Department as Assistant Vice President, Compliance - Projects, Tax & Corporate Finance Team Head.
Main Duties :
- Lead project team on Compliance’s systems implementation and provide support to users where required
- Review / formulate AML scenarios and testing of the scenarios to ensure the system delivers planned results
- Manage vendor proactively to ensure projects are completed timely
- Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports such as FATCA/CRS, RNF, etc
- Provide compliance advisory to Corporate Finance
- Provide compliance support and advisory on day-to-day operations to the BUs
- Keep abreast of the latest regulatory developments, especially AML/CFT
- Assist with ad-hoc/weekly/monthly department meeting materials
- Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as instructed by the HOD, for example:
- Conduct customer onboarding and periodic reviews
- Conduct investigation and file suspicious transactions report
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree with Compliance related certifications and Computer System qualification is a plus
- Experience in leading AML/financial system projects and in FATCA/CRS reporting will be preferred
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the banking and finance sector.
- Team player with strong problem-solving skills and good written and communication skills
