Service Supervisor

We are a modern Asian restaurant looking for a friendly and proactive Service Supervisor to join our team! If you genuinely enjoy working with people, have the experience and confidence in leading a team, and a passion for providing excellent customer service, then we’d like to hear from you!


Our Service Supervisor will oversee daily service, train and supervise Front of House staff, and ensure compliance with safety/sanitation regulations. The perfect candidate is an excellent team player, reliable, empathetic and handles difficult situations respectfully.


Salary: S$ 4,000 - $5,000 depending on work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that an impeccable customer experience for guests is maintained
  • Manage guests’ expectations and attending to complaints, ensuring that service recovery takes precedence over most considerations
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager to ensure that all Front of House team members are well-versed in company’s SOPs, and knowledge of the restaurant’s brand positioning
  • Coordinate and ensure proper communication between Front of House and Back of House operations teams
  • Organise, supervise and roster shifts
  • To maintain a healthy work environment for all team members and assist to resolve any issues between team members
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the beverage programme
  • Assist Restaurant Manager in monthly inventory and Beverage Perpetuals, and keep track of monthly COGs
  • Managing and maintaining the POS software systems
  • Supervise execution of all delivery orders
  • To assist the Events team with the operations and project management of client events held at the restaurant including Weddings and Corporate Events
  • To assist in building a database of regular clients and providing them with efficient and professional customer service

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of hospitality experience in leading and managing a team of restaurant professionals
  • Positive mindset and approachable demeanour
  • Natural people skills
  • A desire to deliver an experience beyond guests’ expectations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confidence with handling POS systems
  • Great time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stay calm, organised, and efficient under pressure
  • Has great initiative and team leadership skills
