Job Title: Engineering Assistant (ID5075)
Location: Aljunied
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8.15am - 5.45pm
Salary: $2800 to $3400
Job Description:
• Support the development and optimization of SMT assembly processes, including stencil design, solder paste application, component placement, and reflow soldering.
• Create and maintain process documentation such as flowcharts, work instructions, standard operating procedures.
• Assist in setting up and operating SMT equipment, including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and automated optical inspection (AOI) systems.
• Monitor production processes to ensure they meet quality standards and yield targets. Conduct basic troubleshooting of Production equipment and processes to resolve production issues.
• Assist in performing routine maintenance on Production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Help develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
Requirement:
• Possess a certificate in Diploma or NITEC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Fresh applications are welcome to apply.
• Min 2-3 years of relevant working experience in SMT equipment such as pick and place machine, reflow ovens and AOI Systems.
• Able to read and understand SMT manufacturing processes and equipment. Basic knowledge of quality control techniques and standards. Ability to analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
