Duties/Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of ACMV/HVAC air-conditioning.
- Ensure the maintenance programs and rectification jobs are managed by a team of technical officers and technicians efficiently.
- Responsible for the daily AC thermal comfort is within acceptable limits.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Provides project status of assigned task list items to Facilities supervisors, managers, technicians, and other internal department personnel, as necessary.
- Works as a collaborator with a wide variety of other professionals to find unique solutions to challenging problems.
- Implement efficiency improvement on the operational process, innovating and implementing systems improvement on energy conservation.
- Preparing reports and documentation.
- Creating maintenance plans and schedules.
- Coordinating contractors for installation and maintenance projects.
- Checking work completed by contractors for compliance and safety.
- Planned, scheduled, and supervised Preventive and Corrective Maintenance work activities, and priorities and reallocated resources when required, on the ACMV equipment system under the responsibilities of the Facilities organization.
- Researching systems and equipment and presenting this information to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Evaluating the efficiency of systems and equipment within a facility.
- Lead and participate in equipment and system abnormalities root cause analysis, attend review meeting, and provide update, then execute corrective and preventive action for continual improvement, this includes installation and modification work on existing or new mechanical equipment and system.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Be able to conduct conditional assessments for existing systems.
- Well versed in local regulatory requirements.
- Estimate labor for complex mechanical system installation.
- Develop expertise in equipment as assigned.
- Generate Project ROM, Budget Estimates, Power Point Presentation
- Must possess leadership abilities and good client maintenance skills.
- Must be willing to travel to Changi T4
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, or industrial)
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in ACMV works or a related field.
- Proficient knowledge of construction principles and building processes.
- Thorough understanding of building regulations and health and safety protocols.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with non-engineering team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Experience with project management principles.
