Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair electrical systems in facilities, including switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, and lighting systems
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly
- Perform regular maintenance and repair of electrical systems to ensure maximum efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems, including identifying the root cause of problems and developing effective solutions
- Work with project manager and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems to extend their lifespan and reduce downtime
- Provide technical support and training to staff and clients on electrical systems operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Assist engineers and work with other technical officers
- Manage a team of 10 workers
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Facilities, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire protection or facilities management, with a focus on electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, principles, codes, and standards.
- Experience managing and leading a team of technicians
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and develop creative solutions
- Must be willing to travel to Marina East Drive
