Key Job Purpose :
- Management of the Regional Health IT business unit (BU) – Support development of optimal market conditions to achieve sales & marketing targets of the BU, and executes plans and activities to meet BU’s objectives
- Management of the assigned product portfolio throughout the product life cycle including Caresphere solution - from product conceptualization to obsolescence
- Key activities include identifying opportunities, support product development, pre-launch, launch, & post-launch activities, market adoption, and project execution.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Product Management & Strategy
- Key knowledge resource for Health IT products and their value propositions.
- Plans and creates new product (including Caresphere solution) launch collaterals and annual marketing plans
- Support analyses for strategic decision support relating to target markets, market segmentation, SWOT analysis, competitive intelligence, positioning, and others that may be brought about by the market dynamism of the assigned business unit
- Support gap analyses to identify evidence and proof sources needs to realize full value proposition of product portfolio
- Translates science, technology, & customer requirements into marketing messages and product positioning, and communicates clearly with country representatives (sales/marketing people, country heads)
- Develops high impact marketing and educational programs leading to system and brand conversion
- Prepares competitive comparison portfolio and communicates clearly to individual country sales/marketing members
- Sets up competitive pricing for all products within the assigned BU
2. Business Development
- Contribute to the design and implementation of product initiatives, including launch of new products & services, introducing product enhancements, and coordinating pricing modifications
- Identifies competitor activities and develops strategic actions to address them
- Provides expert assistance to business partner representatives (distributors/affiliates) as second/third level support, depending on each individual country structure
- Support resolution of customer complaints and corrective/preventive actions across a professional and timely manner
- Identify strategic initiatives to engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) to support the continuous success of the assigned BU
- Deliver comprehensive and highly professional product and marketing training to all business partners
- Involve in the development of customer / market segmentation, segment-specific value proposition, and associated sales/marketing tools
- Organize & support regional marketing activities such as seminars, trade shows, etc., as needed
3. Cross-Functional Role
- Cross-functional collaboration with intra-/interdepartmental teams to achieve shared goals
- Leads the new product launch process within SAP
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Science with at least 2-3 years working experience in the clinical laboratory or patient care environment. At least 1 year of experience in the digital health or software development industry, along with at least 1 year of experience in health IT system implementation and support.
- Cross-functional experience with international teams
- Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in Health IT software application or implementation
- Technical knowledge of SQL, HL7, Unix, Oracle
- Health Informatics and clinical reporting
- Understanding of basic financial statements
- Analytic skills with ability to understand complex market & product data to produce sound business recommendations
- Experience in delivering internal and external training programs
- Enthusiastic, self-starter with strategic focus, positive thinking, integrity, customer-focus, accountability and respect
- Travel Requirement : High(South Asia to Australasia, US and Europe)
