Roles and Responsibilities
The position is to support the Firm’s team along the following investment process:
- Deal origination – makes screening assessments and background checks on the investee prospects and business.
- Due diligence – including project or business feasibility studies including market/industry research assignments and field work, business financial modelling, financial statement analysis, competitor analysis, market analysis, investment sensitivity analysis, personal background checks.
- Legal documentation – support the team in deal structuring and working on legal documentation to close transactions.
- Portfolio monitoring – track investments to ensure they deliver according to pre-agreed KPIs and compliance covenants.
- Exit tracking – supporting the investment monetization process based on investee business fundamentals.
- Investor reports – support the team in collating portfolio data and performance indicators in the preparation of regular reports to the funds’ investors.
Requirements
The candidate should be a university graduate with a minimum of 3 years’ working experience preferably in audit or finance related practice. The candidate must be a team player especially in team communication, meticulous and conscientious in work approach, analytical and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. As this position serves as a custodian of funds, the candidate is expected to have high standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
