Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an outstanding experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, a passion for Japanese culture, and a knack for leading a team with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate floor staff to deliver exceptional service. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
- Guest Experience: Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and attentive service. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback effectively, striving for continuous improvement.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily floor operations, including opening and closing procedures. Manage shift schedules, staffing levels, and inventory control.
- Service Excellence: Maintain high standards of service and presentation. Address any service issues promptly and efficiently.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our sake offerings, food menu, and Japanese culture to educate and engage guests.
- Event Coordination: Assist with planning and executing events, special promotions, and sake tastings. Ensure events run smoothly and meet guest expectations.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations. Monitor and enforce cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a restaurant or bar
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge: Willingness to continuously learn and share knowledge with guests and staff.
- Availability: Flexibility to work on public holidays if required
