Project Description:Bank in Singapore is looking for an experienced Developer for Market Risk Management application team to support the bank's treasury division for the business with Commodities, Credit Derivatives, FXD, IRD, FX, MM, Fixed Income products in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, China and its overseas branches across the globe.
Responsibilities:
• Developer for Market Risk Management application team with the following responsibilities:
• Gather and understand requirements, Impact analysis, cost estimation, production of comprehensive functional and technical specification.
• The development of enhancements to the Risk Systems. This will involve both 'hands on' development as well as working with vendor to deliver the solution.
• The implementation, customisation and support of vendor systems components (such as Murex Market Risk Limit Monitoring system)
• System testing, trouble shooting, code review and quality control.
• Managing user's expectations.
• Offer third line support to the production support team
Mandatory Skills Description:
• 3+ years of development experience, preferably working with Murex applications.
• 3+ years of experience working directly with users to gather/ analyze requirements and translation into a technical solution.
• Murex system in a Banking environment
• RDBMS - Oracle
• Unix/Linux OS
• Unix Scripting
• Strong analytical skills and proactive in providing system solutions
• Candidate must be able to apply good working knowledge of project procedures, work flows, and milestones in order to complete projects assigned.
• Ability to take responsibility for project/enhancement delivery from initiation to implementation and ensure delivery under tight schedules.
• Articulate with a high standard of written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work with other teams and manage those teams to achieve project deliverables. Team Player.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
• Banking Background, Specifically in Risk Management and/ or Treasury
• Understanding of:
- Market Risk Concepts (VaR, Greeks, etc)
- FRTB Regulations
- SIMM Regulations
- Treasury products including Derivatives, Fixed Income and Money Market products
• Murex MRA and/or FRTB
• Experience with Job Schedulers such as Control-M
