Toolcrib Assistant

You are stationed at customer site and responsible for maintaining all tools, equipment, and consumables at the company’s onsite toolcrib. You receive, keep, sort, issue, count and record parts to ensure efficiency and accuracy at all times.


What will you deliver?

  • Receive, check quantity & quality and sort incoming parts and supplies.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner and ensure that all tools and equipment are kept in good condition.
  • Keep the tool and equipment log updated and maintain inventory levels of all consumables.
  • Attend to customers’ requests for work-order picking.
  • Ensure that all signed-out items are recorded.
  • Guide customer to fill up Spot Buy form if the customer’s requested items cannot be found in the tool crib.
  • Perform weekly stock count to ensure consistency between system and physical stock.
  • Report items that require repair.
  • Keep the toolcrib neat and orderly.
  • Maintain and refill vending machines.
  • Ensure world class customer service is achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with Vallen’s operations policies and procedures.

Key Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of logistics operations
  • Responsible, self-disciplined
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Organised
  • Forklift or scissor lift certificates
