The Role: The Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and servicing our fleet of refrigeration units and catering equipment in both the warehouse and onsite at customer locations.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Conducting preventive maintenance and commissioning of refrigeration and catering equipment, utilizing precision and accuracy
· Troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively in a timely manner
· Develop a good technical understanding of our refrigeration and catering equipment within the Lowe Rental Hire Fleet.
· Carry out the necessary and appropriate safety checks to ensure each item of equipment is safe and fit for purpose.
· Identify and resolve technical issues with items of equipment. This includes onsite maintenance calls
· Diagnose and order parts to achieve a first time fix.
· Complete all documentation in a proper and timely manner.
· Update the company computer systems with equipment information.
· Complete full inspections and reports to provide for the business and client.
· Commission to the company standards and safety regulations.
· Keep your working area clean and stocked and ready to work.

Candidates must also possess the following skills and experience;
- Min 2 years’ experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
· Work in a safe manner so as not to endanger yourself or those working around you.
· To always carry out tasks in accordance with any documented risk assessment and safe working practice and make suggestions for health and safety improvements to your manager.
· To always carry out tasks in accordance with any documented processes or procedures.
· To always carry out any other duties asked of you by your Manager or Director.
· Evidence of a solutions orientated approach;
· Willing to work towards appropriate company ESG standards
· Willing to take training course to expand knowledge of Singapore First & Safety regulations.
· Experience with supply and installation of catering equipment and refrigeration
Essential Qualifications
· Refrigerant handling for chillers certification
Desirable
· Testing and repairing Electrical Catering Equipment
· Basic Plumbing
· English (Spoken & Written) & Mandarin
· Driver’s License
