Driver

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transportation and Delivery:Operate a company van to deliver goods to supermarkets and retail locations as scheduled.
   Adhere to delivery routes and schedules to ensure punctuality and efficiency.
   Load and unload products, ensuring careful handling and secure placement.
   
2. Stock Arrangement:Arrange and organize stock upon delivery to ensure proper display and accessibility.
   Assist with restocking shelves, displays, and storage areas according to store layouts and guidelines.
   Work with store staff to ensure products are placed correctly and meet merchandising standards.
   
3. Vehicle Maintenance:Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on the vehicle.
   Report any mechanical issues or required repairs to the supervisor promptly.
   Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
   
4. Documentation and Reporting:Complete and maintain accurate delivery logs, inventory checklists, and other required paperwork.
   Obtain signatures and proof of delivery from store personnel.
   Report any delivery discrepancies or issues encountered during transit.
   
5. Customer Service:Provide courteous and professional service to store staff and customers.
   Address any questions or concerns from store personnel and handle them effectively.
   Represent the company positively through professional conduct and appearance.
   
6. Compliance:Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
   Ensure adherence to delivery procedures and legal requirements.
   
7. Additional Duties:Assist with other warehouse or logistics tasks as needed.
   Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous driving, delivery, or stock arrangement experience is an advantage.
• License: Valid [Class 3 & above] driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Skills:Strong navigation skills and knowledge of local roads and routes.
  Ability to handle stock and organize products efficiently.
  Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle upkeep and troubleshooting.
• Personal Attributes:Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  Ability to work independently and collaboratively with store staff.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Capability to lift and carry packages and stock items of varying weights.
• Good vision and hearing to ensure safe driving and effective communication.
