About Us:
Metta Welfare Association is dedicated to providing comprehensive community care to adults with intellectual disabilities through the Metta Home for the Disabled and Metta Home Day Activity Centre. Established in December 2000, our facilities serve individuals aged 18 to 55, offering both residential and day care services. Our mission is to empower our beneficiaries with the skills and support they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
Job Title: Enrolled Nurse
Key Responsibilities:
1. Main Responsibilities
- All Nursing Aide tasks and overall management of clients
- Responsible for the medical needs of the clients including medication and supplements
- Support clients’ safety, activity engagement and a safe environment
- Review daily reports on clients’ activities
- Assessment of clients progress in terms of ADL, CLS
- Mentor junior nursing staff
- Assist staff nurses
- Coordinates clients medical appointments and/or follow ups
2. Other Responsibilities
- Participate in donor/volunteer/fund raising events
- Any other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of related experience
- Minimum Diploma/ degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Registered with Singapore Nursing board
- Experience working with persons with special needs and/or geriatrics preferred
- Ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
- Hardworking, meticulous and responsible
- Able to communicate well with both internal and external stakeholders.
