Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Design electrical interlock and power distribution systems for semiconductor machinery
- Generating design document. E.g Shematics, cable assembly drawing, BOM, wiring instruction
- Manage external vendor or contractors to deliver subsystems that meet design specification and reliability
- Integrate and test of system
- System troubleshooting and prodiving solution
- Design diagnostic tools/fixtures for manufacting and field services
- Guiding Junior Engineer/Assistant Engineer and Ensure work done are meeting the application intent and safety requirement
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or its relevant field with at least 3 years working experience in electrical interlock and power distribution system design.
- Experience in Solidworks ECAD and AutoCAD is preferred
- Experience in semiconductor equipment industry or high precision automation equipment industry is preferred
- Expertise on power distribution for both AC and DC
- Strong diagnostic skills and capable of resolving electrical noise, grounding, and signal integrity issues
- Working experience in motion control systems is advantage
- Experience in practising FMEA, problem solving skills etc
- Familiar with Ethernet and TCP/IP protocol
- Knowledge of designing and documenting cables
- Experience in safety and electrical regulatory compliance, e.g. SEMI, CE,CCC.
