Role Purpose:
As an Assistant Shop Manager, you'll support the Deputy/Shop Manager in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth store operations.
Key responsibilities:
· Assist with daily store operations and act as the acting Deputy Shop Manager when necessary.
· Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and efficient product display.
· Manage deliveries and report any discrepancies.
· Oversee the cash register area and stock room.
· Uphold customer service standards and handle complaints effectively.
· Collaborate on merchandise returns and exchanges.
· Address and report any issues or problems to management.
· Create staff schedules for efficient staffing.
· Enforce company SOPs and grooming standards.
· Motivate team members and maintain a positive work environment.
· Keep fitting rooms clean and organized.
· Follow security protocols for store safety.
· Adhere to proper hygiene and uniform standards.
· Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.
· Fulfil any other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
· Previous retail or customer service experience.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Team player with a strong work ethic.
· Basic cash handling knowledge.
· Flexibility to work varied hours.
· Willingness to adapt in a dynamic retail setting.
