Building and Facilities Maintenance Technician (Aftersales Department)
Ubi/ Mondays to Friday: 9am -6pm, Alternate Saturday: 9am – 1pm
Job Description:
- Maintain facilities through routine checks on:
- Electrical systems
- Air-conditioning systems
- Compressed air systems
- Chilled-water systems
- Coordinate with contractors for:
- Routine servicing
- Emergency repairs
- Ensuring daily operational state of the building
- Supervise vendors during renovations to ensure a smooth transition
- Maintain good housekeeping in:
- AHU (Air Handling Unit) rooms
- Switch rooms
- Ensure cleanliness of equipment and site
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors to:
- Carry out scheduled work
- Supervise on-premises work
- Ensure quality, cost-effective repairs and renovations
- Perform hands-on repairs for:
- Sanitary and plumbing works
- Electrical works
- Building works
- Conduct simple fault-finding for telephone lines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Nitec in Facilities / Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services
- 2 years of experience in building maintenance and facilities support
- Certificate in Building Maintenance/Building Inspection (added advantage)
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
