Job Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and oversee testing, commissioning, and software programming for BMS projects, ensuring alignment with project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Develop and design programs and graphical interfaces for Building Automation projects.
- Analyze and resolve implementation and operational issues, providing solutions that meet customer demands and improve system performance.
- Work closely with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and systems are integrated seamlessly with other building systems.
- Provide feedback to development teams on product implementation and support issues to facilitate product improvements and enhancements.
- Participate in product development and marketing workshops to explore and enhance business opportunities and growth.
- Create and maintain comprehensive BMS documentation, including Functional Design Specifications and Software Test Documents.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), including expertise in open bus protocols and control engineering.
- In-depth understanding of HVAC systems, Building Automation, Energy Management, and other control systems.
- Proficient in programming and troubleshooting industry-standard protocols such as BACnet, MODBUS, and LON. Knowledge of PLCs is a plus.
- Ability to analyze operational data from building or industrial service plants, including chilled-water systems.
- Proven experience with automation control systems across various applications, such as commercial and industrial buildings, and data centers.
- Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and debugging live software systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage technical implementations and apply both business and technical insights to project assignments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in customer interactions and report writing.
- Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of independently addressing and resolving issues.
