Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain, operations or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5-8 years professional experience in the field, practices and procedures in purchasing or materials management.
- Must possess a thorough understanding of procurement processes and demonstrate expertise in the relevant commodities and services.
- Proficient in computer skills, including hands-on experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar applications.
- Must have O&G industry product knowledge, can negotiate, expedite, assess and procure.
Job Description:
- Creates bidders' lists for assigned RFQ packages, prepares RFQ-specific commercial documents, and distributes the RFQ to suppliers. Additionally, coordinates any required clarifications or revisions
- Collaborates with the project team to review the Technical and preliminary Commercial Evaluations, select the successful bidder, and pinpoint negotiation points. Leads or coordinates meetings and commercial negotiations with the chosen bidder, finalizes the Commercial Evaluation, and recommends the preferred supplier
- Develops purchase orders in conformance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Arranges and conducts meetings with Suppliers, negotiates and issues PO Change Orders and prepares weekly and monthly project procurement status reports to ensure effective internal and external communication.
