Our client is a market leader in the Logistic industry. They are looking for a QSHE Manager to assist their Finance team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in West – easily accessible. The QSHE Manager is responsible for:
Duties
- Ensure the company meets all legal, corporate, and customer requirements by developing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress.
- Promptly conduct risk assessments and implement incident prevention strategies to report, prevent, and mitigate the impact of harmful activities.
- Regularly assess and update safety management systems through programs like internal audits, change management, permit-to-work, SHE training, and contractor management.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements by maintaining necessary licenses and permits from SCDF, NEA, SPF, MOM, and other relevant authorities.
- Review and approve Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to ensure they meet applicable licensing and permit standards while addressing evolving company needs.
- Lead efficient emergency resource planning and response, championing the ongoing improvement of SHE performance across the organization while implementing cost-effective strategies to enhance customer service.
Requirements
- Min Bachelor's degree or equivalent); Certified WSHO (Workplace Safety and Health Officer) or obtained, minimally, a Specialist Diploma in WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) (Level C)
- Registered FSM (Fire Safety Manager);
- A competently trained HS (Hazardous Substances) licence Holder;
- Certified internal auditors for ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SS 651
