Job Description: Senior DevOps Engineer
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and our AWS based infrastructure, ensuring the seamless integration of these two critical functions. Your role is pivotal in enhancing our software delivery processes and maintaining a reliable infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of technology, collaborating with development teams to streamline the deployment, delivery, and management of software products. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality software to our users efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure our AWS cloud based infrastructure is highly available, scalable, reliable, and runs efficiently.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and pipelines for provisioning, deploying, and managing infrastructure and applications.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated deployments
- Embrace the power of IaC tools like Terraform to build and manage infrastructure components.
- Keep security at the forefront, implementing best practices and security measures throughout the infrastructure.
- Work your magic with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to manage containers effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure DevOps best practices are integrated into our development processes.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to deployment, configuration, and system performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and best practices
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Strong understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a knack for collaboration.
